All NitroFill "Membrane" nitrogen generator units are membrane type generation systems each consisting of a cabinet, membrane, controls and storage tank to comprise a complete system for indoor use (40-140°F). Systems are constructed of industrial grade components (primarily of US origin and manufacture).

Nitrogen Separation Membranes: NitroFill generators include the highest quality, most efficient membranes on the market. Membrane modules are composed of millions of polymeric hollow fibers. Theses fibers separate the components of the air by taking advantage of their varying permeation rates. It is these varying rates of permeation that allow the membranes to "filter" oxygen from a stream of compressed air to produce dry nitrogen. Since the membranes have no moving parts, they provide highly reliable, continuous flows, dependent only on the incoming supply of compressed air.

Compressed Air Purification: Purification is achieved by utilization of our industry-leading filtration systems (four or six stage). Our typical system includes an initial pre-filter, followed by an instrument grade coalescing filter. These two pre-filters come standard with internal float type automatic drains. The combined efficiency of these two filters is 99.99996% overall efficiency with 40 ppmV inlet concentration (0.17 ppbV oil mist carryover). Our premium 6 stage filtration option replaces the standard carbon element with a conservatively sized carbon vessel containing pelletized air separation grade carbon to remove any oil vapor from the compressed air before entering the membrane. The carbon bed is designed to deliver oil free air to the membrane with less than .002 ppmV at the end of the designed 12 month life. A two stage particulate filter is also included to remove any dust particles from the carbon bed. Filters are sized for a combined new/clean pressure drop of less than 3 PSID at operating conditions.

Flow meter: A flow meter is mounted to display the flow rate of the nitrogen supplied by the nitrogen generator allowing precise purity adjustments and quick systems diagnostics. We are unaware of any competitor who provides a flow meter on their generators.

Economizer System: To conserve energy and shop air compressor life, every NitroFill generator is equipped with an "Economizer System" that senses final high pressure nitrogen and cycles the unit on and off automatically when nitrogen reaches the upper set point of the pressure switch. Upon re-starting of the generator, controls are set to bring the generator back to pressure slowly to avoid damage to the air purification system.

Premium Purity Controller: Our unique Purity controller maintains purity more accurately than any other controller on the market. It also provides simple adjustment and is equipped with an internal regulator which automatically compensates for fluctuating downstream pressures resulting in perpetually consistent purity delivery to storage tank.

Nitrogen Storage Tank: Our painted, ASME approved 80 gallon nitrogen storage tank includes cabinet mounted tank pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and isolation outlets for instant in-tank purity testing.
